Brie Larson is thanking fans for supporting her casting as Captain Marvel. The oscar winning actress was announced to be playing the superhero at San Diego Comic Con. Since then, Larson says she has received an outpouring of support. In an emotional post on Instagram, Larson said, quote, "I was reminded how the acceptance of community is a deeply rooted need - but I don't want to live worried people will hate me because I'm myself!?
