This fall the free Global Citizen Festival will take place September 24 in New York CIty at Central Park. Metallica, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, and Major Lazer will headline the show. This is the fifth year the festival has been held and MSNBC will broadcast the performances live. Free tickets can be earned by promoting education on the festival's website. Last year, Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, Beyonce, and Michelle Obama were participants in the festival.
