Demi Lovato took the stage at the opening night of the Democratic National Convention to speak about the stigma surrounding mental illness. Lovato said, "I stand here today as proof that you can live a normal and empowered life with mental illness." Then she transitioned into singing, performing her current hit, "Confident." The 23-year-old singer has been supportive of Hillary Clinton throughout the election and she spoke at one of Clinton's rallies in Iowa. "I don't think there's a woman more confident than Hillary Clinton," she said.
