Eddie Redmayne has been cast in the industrial age historical drama The Last Days of Night. Morten Tyldum is set to direct the film from a script by Graham Moore. The director-writer team is known for their work on The Imitation Game, which won a best adapted screenplay Oscar nod. It chronicles the legal battle between titans of industry Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse, who were racing to patent the technology for electric light.
