Critics are praising The Late Show with Stephen Colbert's coverage of the 2016 Republican National Convention. Daniel Fienberg of the Hollywood reporter writes that the Late Show overshadowed the Daily Show with Trevor Noah. According to Feinberg, the Daily Show was above average during the convention, but it just couldn't compete with colbert's special live shows.
