Michael Caine was born Maurice Micklewhite, which remained his legal name throughout his acting career. however at 83 years old Caine has undergone the legal process of officially changing his name to Michael Caine.When asked why he decided this later on he stated. "I changed my name when all the stuff started with ISIS, An airport security guard would say, 'Hi Michael Caine,' and suddenly I'd give him a passport with a different name on it. I could stand there for an hour. So I changed my name."
