Following a special screening of the Oliver Stone film "Snowden" on September 14th, Edward Snowden will livestream from his Moscow exile in theaters across the nation. The live event was announced by Fathom Events and Open Road films on Friday. In the film, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays NSA whistleblower Snowden. The film focuses on his life from 2004 to 2013. Snowden was responsible for leaking thousands of classified government documents to the press. Tickets for the live event go on sale on Friday, August 5th.
