The cast of Star Trek Beyond showed up to Comic Con in San Diego but they were missing one of their most beloved members, Anton Yelchin. Yelchin passed away last month in a tragic accident and the cast members all wore a pin in his honor. Yelchin played Pavel Chekov in the J.J. Abrams Star Trek franchise. In a moment of remembrance, Abrams told the crowd, "His parents are here tonight, and we loved their son." Co-star Simon Pegg said Yelchin was "the smartest guy in the room." Yelchin died at the age of 27 on June 19th.
