These rebooted flicks have breathed new life into a franchise long considered too dry and nerdy for the summer masses. So what do the critics say? Film review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes gave it 88%, certifying it as fresh based 122 reviews. Metacritic, another movie review aggregate site gave it a 70 based on 44 reviews. Starring Chris Pine, Zachery Quinto, the late Anton Yelchin, and Idris Elba 'Star Trek Beyond' is directed by Fast & Furious director Justin Lin.
