In a recent interview at the San Diego Comic Con with Mr. Robot star Rami Malek, he admitted that he sometimes checks out Reddit to see what theories fans are speculating. Like audiences, Malek doesn't know exactly what creator Sam Esmail has in store for the characters. In the interview, the star also mentioned that he's been surprised at the mainstream success of the show. While they're shooting, sometimes busses with Mr. Robot ads drive through a shot.
