One Direction fans are happy to see one of its members planning and signing on to make music once again. Singer Liam Payne announced he has signed a record deal with Capitol Records UK. The boy band said last year they were taking a break after touring with their fifth album, but now it seems Payne is ready to make music once again.
Payne said: " One Direction will always be my family," but that now, he is excited to show his talent going solo.
One Direction formed in 2010 after five teenagers ? Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Payne, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik ? auditioned individually for British TV talent show "The X Factor." Malik quit the chart-topping group in 2015 and now Payne is going solo.
