One Direction member Liam Payne announced via Twitter Thursday that he has signed a solo deal with Capitol Records, a month after bandmate Harry Styles signed a solo contract with Columbia. Payne didn't clarify if the band was officially parting ways. He wrote, "One direction will always be my home and family. But I'm very excited to see what this chapter brings." Last year, Zayn Malik was the first member of the British to go solo, signing with RCA Records and dropping a debut album in March.
