The former reality star is trying her hand at network comedy. Nicole Richie has been tapped to replace Kimrie Lewis-Davis for a role on Great News, an upcoming new sitcom on NBC, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The new show follows a mother-daughter relationship that gets complicated when the mom (Andrea Martin) takes an internship at her daughter?s (Briga Heelan) office, a cable news network. Richie will play Portia, the fashionable co-host of the fictional news show which the sitcom centers around.
