Actress Zoe Saldana has revealed that she is suffering from a condition called Hashimoto?s thyroiditis. According to Saldana, who recently walked the red carpet at the world premiere of Star Trek Beyond on Wednesday, she is currently fighting the autoimmune disease that is also affecting her mother and sister. Saldana discussed the disease in a recent interview, saying, "Your body doesn?t have the energy it needs to filter toxins, causing it to believe that it has an infection, so it?s always inflamed. You create antibodies that attack your glands, so you have to eat clean.? She then added, "I had a great time in my twenties. Then your doctor says you?re losing calcium in your bones. What is that?! I would hear those conversations with my mom and grandma, thinking I?d never get there."
