VIDEO : Veep Actor's Emmy Nomination Revoked

Actor Peter MacNicol's 2016 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance on HBO's Veep has been revoked. Officials determined this week that the actor, who has won an Emmy in the past, was ineligible because he appeared on too many episodes to be considered a guest star. The TV Academy said in a statement, "This decision is in no way a diminishment of Mr. MacNicol's stellar performance on this season of Veep.
