VIDEO : 'Divergent' Will Continue on TV

There is big news for fans of the "Divergent" book and movies series. According to Variety magazine, negotiations are reportedly underway for the fourth and final film in the series to skip theatrical distribution and premiere as a made-for-television movie that would lead into a TV series spinoff. The changes comes after the poor box office performance for the series' third film, "Allegiant," which saw a middling opening weekend of $29 million in March of 2016. The total domestic box office take for the movie was a paltry $66.1 million. The flick is adapted from the novels by Veronica Roth.
