Liam Payne has become the latest member of One Direction to go solo after announcing on Twitter that he has signed a deal with Capitol Records' U.K. division. The news comes one month after fellow bandmate Harry Styles said that he had signed a solo deal with Columbia Records. Payne said in a statement this week, "Capitol Records has an amazing history stretching right back before even Frank Sinatra and I'm really looking forward to becoming part of their story. One Direction will always be my family; I'm now excited to show what I can do as a solo artist."
