VIDEO : First Images Of New 'The Tick' Released By Amazon

The Superhero Spoof "The Tick" - first created by comic book writer Ben Edlund in 1986 - was first adapted to an animated TV show in 1994, then as a live action sitcom in 2001, both of which became cult favorites. And now the absurdist satire has found a new life, courtesy of Amazon Studios and executive producer Barry Sonnenfeld. The first look at the new show is finally here, showing British comic actor Peter Serafinowicz - of "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Spy" fame - in the lead role. Fans hoping to catch the reboot of "The Tick" don't have too long of a wait - the show premieres on Amazon August 19th, 2016.
