It seems that Shrek 5 is underway! According to Hollywood Reporter, the ogre fairytale is slated for a 2019 release. Even though many thought 2010's Shrek Forever After was the conclusion of the series, leaving things on a happy note for the lovable ogre, there seems to be more NBCUniversal wanted to do.
