VIDEO : Final Divergent Film Not Going To Big Screen?

Looks like the final film in the "Divergent" series could be heading to the small screen. According to Variety, negotiations are underway to air "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" on television rather than open in theaters. The film had been scheduled to debut in June 2017. It is not yet known if the franchise stars will also be involved in "Ascendent" or in the planned tv series.
