VIDEO : Final Divergent Film Will Go Straight To TV

The fourth installment of the Divergent series will be a made-for-TV movie. After low box office numbers for the third film, Allegiant, the studio came up with a new strategy. Lionsgate televsion group will be in charge of the production. Following the fourth movie there are plans for a spin-off TV series. Storylines and cast have not been finalized yet for the TV series. It also remains unclear if Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Ansel Elgort will return for the final film.
