Full House actor John Stamos was good friends with Garry Marshall, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 81. Stamos said, "I loved bragging that I knew him. I loved walking into places with him." Marshall is the one who suggested a young Stamos for the role of Uncle Jesse on Full House and he's the one who advised Stamos to get a catchphrase for his character. He even gave Stamos his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Stamos said, "He could make people smile without even saying a word. Just the sight of him made you happy. Then he?d open his mouth and you?d laugh. He could say just about anything and make it funny."
