VIDEO : Donna Tartt's 'The Goldfinch' Will Get Film Adaptation

"Brooklyn" director John Crowley has been chosen to direct the film adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "The Goldfinch," by Donna Tartt. The 2013 bestselling novel tells the coming-of-age story of Theo Decker, a 13-year-old New Yorker whose mother is killed during a terrorist attack. By the end of the story, Theo is 26 years old, which means there will likely be two actors chosen for the role. Casting will begin in the fall.
