VIDEO : Associated Press Executive Editor Will Step Down

The Associated Press announced on Wednesday the company's senior vice president and executive editor, Kathleen Carroll, is leaving the wire service at the end of 2016.
Carroll has been heading AP?s global news arm for the last 14 years. She said in a statement she is stepping down to spend more time with her family.
AP president and CEO Gary Pruitt said in a company statement, ?If AP were a sports team, we would be retiring Kathleen?s number.
