VIDEO : Comic-Con Poster For 'Riverdale' Revealed

The CW has had a few successes in adapting DC Comics for the small screen, including "Arrow" and "Flash." Now, "Arrow'' showrunner Greg Berlanti will oversee a new TV adaptation of the Archie Comics franchise, titled "Riverdale." The pilot episode will premiere tonight as part of Comic-Con's preview night. The cast includes K.J. Apa as Archie Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, and Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge.
