VIDEO : DreamWorks Bringing 'Shrek' Back In 2019

During the early 2000's, DreamWorks Animation's "Shrek" franchise was the studio?s most lucrative property, spawning four different films and a spinoff movie, "Puss in Boots." Now, after several commercial disappointments with animated features such as "Rise of the Guardians" and "Mr. Peabody and Sherman," the studio is going back to its bread and butter, planning a 2019 release date for yet another film featuring the jolly green ogre. The news comes as part of an announcement that Universal intends to release two DreamWorks animated films every year, for the foreseeable future.
