Star Trek Producer J.J. Abrams said Anton Yelchin's "Star Trek" character, Pavel Chekov, will not be recast in the film franchise. Abrams said "I would say there's no replacing him. I can't possibly imagine that, and I think Anton deserves better. Yelchin played Chekov in three movies, he died in June in a car accident.
