VIDEO : Cartoon Network Renews Powerpuff Girls For Second Season

Cartoon Network announced that Powerpuff Girls will return for another season. The first season premiere was watched by 81 million viewers across all platforms and the show was even nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Short Form Animated Program category. Over 12 million fans also participated in the "Powerpuff Yourself" avatar app. The trio of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will be in attendance at San Diego's Comic Con with a booth and full panel. The booth will be inspired by Townsville and fans will be able to print their avatars on tote bags and t-shirts.
