In a new behind-the-scenes video, posted to the Beyonce's Facebook page, costume designer Marni Senofonte breaks down the process of how the Formation World Tour fashion came to be, from illustration to stage. Hats made nowhere else in the world, just pieced together from sombreros bought in Mexico. Armpits cut out of tight Victorian jumpsuits so dancers can move. Bey approved all the sketches designers submitted for her antebellum-inspired wardrobe?and you can see quite clearly how hands-on she was in the process. It's all amazing.
