Multiple sources confirm that BMI's repertoire- a system that helps protect licenses for songwriters- was updated on Monday, resulting in Swift's name replacing Sjoberg's as the song's co-writer. Initially, Taylor Swift wanted to keep her involvement with the song under wraps but after the rumors began circulating and her ex Calvin Harris confirmed it in a Twitter rant, Swift decided it was time to get credit where credit is due.
