It turns out that the supposed secret recording of Taylor Swift by Kanye West was in fact no secret at all. When Kim Kardashian released the footage of Taylor Swift seemingly approving the line Kanye West wrote about her in his song ?Famous,? many people wondered if the couple would face legal repercussions for secretly filming Swift as she claimed. Despite the fact that Swift threatened Kardashian and West with criminal prosecution months ago for recording her without her expressed permission, it looks like there?s a loophole in the California law that may just the couple off the hook. In this case, because West had Swift on speaker phone and several people besides the rapper spoke up during the conversation including producer Rick Rubin and even some of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians staff, Swift can?t claim she thought the conversation was secret.
