Last night, former Disney Channel star, Selena Gomez, made an interesting attempt at trying to defend her bff Taylor Swift from a video released by Kim Kardashian that destroys Swift's own constructed narrative that she was actually the victim in Kanye West's song "Famous." Sel Gomez took to concours-twitter.htm">twitter to say the following, "There are more important things to talk about... Why can't people use their voice for something that (expletive) matters? Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form." A fan the responded to her tweets wondering why the songstress hadn't followed her own advice and spoken out about current issues, like the Black Lives Matter movement. Gomez then responded with "Oh lol, so that means if I hashtag something I save lives? No -- I could give two f**ks about 'sides.' You don't know what I do." However, the tweet was deleted soon after.
