J.J. Abrams may be busy with his continual work in a galaxy far far away he still is still vested in going where no man has gone before. Abrams the producer of Star Trek Beyond confirmed in a recent interview that there will be a Star Trek 4. Paramount has stopped short of making an announcement though. Here is what Abrams said when asked if 4 is going to happen, "?Yes, and there?s something that hopefully we?re figurative minutes away from talking about. But the answer is 100 percent yes, and it?s incredibly exciting.? Though Abrams stepped away from directing the Star Trek films because of his commitment to the Star Wars universe he still produced Star Trek Beyond and he directed the first two films, Star Trek, and Star Trek Into Darkness which many feel resurrected the middling franchise.
