JJ Abrams has taken a lot of fan-favorite franchises and successfully rebooted them. He started by rebooting the Star Trek films, and then managed to seamlessly jump over to the Star Wars franchise and bring out another sequel to the beloved films set in a galaxy far far away. But in a recent interview, a reporter asked Abrams if he could see himself working on the Indiana Jones films. There is currently a sequel in the works and Steven Spielberg is set to direct the as-yet unnamed Indiana Jones Five. But more films are planned for the franchise. Abrams said that he was grateful he had gotten the chance to work on so many amazing series, but he wanted to get a chance to create some original films again. He definitely would not be working on an Indiana Jones film.
