Variety is reporting that actor Oscar Isaac is in talks to play an as-yet unspecified role in Steven Spielberg's upcoming movie, The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara. Edgardo Mortara is a project that Spielberg has been attached to since 2014. However, production on the film has only begun picking up speed this year, starting with Spielberg?s Oscar-winning Bridge of Spies and BFG star Mark Rylance signing on to play a role in the movie. Meanwhile, Isaac will be reprising his role as Poe Dameron in Rian Johnson?s Star Wars: Episode VIII next year and will also appear in Ex Machina director Alex Garland?s next movie, Annihilation.
