Rose Byrne is headed to HBO to star alongside Oprah Winfrey in the network's upcoming film "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks," based on Rebecca Skloot's nonfiction best-seller of the same name. The film will tell the story of Henrietta Lacks, a poor black woman who died of cervical cancer in 1951. Without her consent, doctors removed the tumor that killed her and used it to build a billion-dollar research industry. Byrne will play Skloot, a young journalist who formed a close bond with Henrietta's daughter.
