Wednesday night at Nashville?s Ascend Amphitheater, Kacey Musgraves sang alongside Weezer for an acoustic rendition of the band's classic "Island in the Sun."
Musgraves added harmony vocals and sang lead on the second verse of the song, giving it what Weezer later tweeted was "the proper Nashville rendition" of their Green Album hit. "It instantly puts people's hands in the air and smile on their faces," Musgraves once told Cosmopolitan magazine of the 2001 song.
