On July 13th the ESPY awards in Los Angeles gave a fitting tribute to Muhammad Ali the perennial boxing great who just passed away on June 3rd of this year. He was a hightlight of the In Memoriam portion of the show but basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had some nice things to say. He said that Ali had the ability to make the impossible seem real and he also said, "Every athlete handles fame in their own way. Some people revel in it. Some people aren't so comfortable with it.
