Beyonce posted a tribute to the five Dallas police officers who were shot and killed while patrolling a protest. Beyonce posted a video to her instagram account that listened the names of the five officers. She wrote, "Rest in peace to the officers whose lives were senselessly taken yesterday in Dallas." She added: "I am praying for a full recovery of the seven others injured. No violence will create peace" Earlier this week, Beyonce wrote an open letter about the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile - two men who were both killed by police officers.

In the Instagram post, the singer also revealed she was praying for those officers injured in the shooting and reiterated that violence isn't the answer. "Rest in peace to the officers whose lives were senselessly taken yesterday in Dallas," Beyoncé wrote. Earlier in the week, Beyoncé commented on the deaths of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge and Philando Castile outside the Twin Cities of Minnesota, two men killed in separate police shootings.
