Kiefer Sutherland has just joined the cast of the Flatliners Remake from Sony Pictures. Sutherland also appeared in the orginal film that was released in 1990. It wasn't too long after that Sutherland's career hit a wall but along game a little show called 24 and Kiefer has had steady work since. According to deadline.com Sutherland will portray a seasoned doctor but that's all the information that was given so it's difficult to say to what extent he will be in the remake. Sony has not given any indication as to whether the new Flatliners will be a full reboot or a soft one that is just set within the universe established in 1990. Production on the film will begin later this week.
