Shameless star Emmy Rossum will now have director on her resume, as she makes her directorial debut on the fourth episode of season seven. The show, which also stars William H. Macy, will return on Showtime. Season six aired in the Spring, so dedicated viewers are getting two seasons in the same year. Rossum's episode is scheduled to air on Sunday, October 23rd. Rossum is engaged to Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail, who will direct every episode of season two.
