VIDEO : Daniel Craig almost made Skyfall reshoot millions of dollars worth of scenes

Daniel Craig has definitely been a controversial James Bond actor, especially since he has recently said that suicide is preferable to reappearing in the iconic spy role. But the actor did make one misstep that was definitely a huge blunder on his part. During the filming of the movie Skyfall, Craig told Director Sam Mendes that he wanted to wear a pair of tight-fitting leather gloves, because he felt that Bond would have worn the gloves. Neither Mendes or Craig remembered that James Bond's handgun in that movie required his fingerprints to work, so wearing the gloves would have kept him from using the gun at all. But Craig wore the gloves during a fight scene that would have cost the studio millions of dollars to reshoot. So Mendes decided to have CGI hands put over Craig's gloved hands in the film. Craig's insistence on wearing the gloves was definitely a costly mistake!
