Seven years ago it was announced that Stephen King's It would be remade, and now filming has finally begun. The film's director, Andres Muschietti took to Instagram to post a picture of his director's chair with the name of the film embellished on it in blood red letters. The two-part reboot will focus on the group of friends from the original as adults facing the possibility of fighting Pennywise the clown once again. The first film is scheduled for release in theaters on September 8, 2017.
