Anna kendrick wants to be a superhero! Marvel already has a pretty deep bench of actors who've signed on to play film versions of their various comic book heroes. So it's understandable that any actor who hasn't already agreed to one would be asked about the possibility during interviews. When asked by Net-A-Porter about the chance of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kendrick dropped a rather obscure reference, saying she'd be down to play Doreen Green, the superhero known as Squirrel Girl. Kendrick said "My brother sent me a Squirrel Girl comic because he thinks I should play her, I don't know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half-squirrel, but I could be half-squirrel!"
