Suicide Squad star Scott Eastwood is in early talks to join Pacific Rim 2, the sequel to Guillermo del Toro's 2013 sci-fi action feature about robots battling sea monsters. John Boyega of 'Star Wars' fame will star in the project, where he will play the son Idris Elba's season one character. Legendary and Universal that the film is set for release Feb. 23, 2018.
