Apparently, Obi-Wan Kenobi wasn't the only Jedi keeping the Galaxy safe between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope as actor Samuel L. Jackson has revealed that his Star Wars character didn't really die in the 2005 film. Jackson played Jedi Master Mace Windu in the Star Wars prequel trilogy who was apparently killed in Episode III after having his hand cut off by Anakin Skywalker and being shocked by Senator Palpatine's Force lightning. But, according to Jackson, that's not what actually happened at all. The actor said this week, "Jedi can fall from amazing distances. And there?s a long history of one-handed Jedi. So why not?" When asked why Windu hasn't been seen since, Jackson suggested that he was laying low like Alec Guinness' Obi-Wan Kenobi had been at the start of the original movie.
