During a recent conversation with Rolling Stone, comedian Bo Burnham, whose latest special, Make Happy, debuted on Netflix earlier this month, discussed why presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is basically joke-proof. Burnham explained, "To me, Donald Trump is a symptom of entertainers and entertainment. He is a really good entertainer, and all these satirists that think they're ripping him, to me, are playing right into his hands. Like, this is what we wanted. We wanted someone to rip on." Burnham added, "I think that was the huge appeal that people didn't realize, was that he was a good television performer. He realized that the camera is in a close-up, and he should act for the camera, and he did it. I wish that it wasn't a thing. I wish CNN didn't look like ESPN."
