Winona Ryder is "shocked" at actress Amber Heard's allegations that Johnny Depp both physically and emotionally abused her during the course of their one-year marriage. Ryder, who was once engaged to Depp, talked about the allegations in a new interview with Time, and says that the 53-year-old actor was never violent towards anyone during the four years they dated. "I can only speak from my own experience, which was wildly different than what is being said," Ryder, 44, says. "He was never, never that way towards me. Never abusive at all towards me. I only know him as a really good, loving, caring guy who is very, very protective of the people that he loves."
