Lady Gaga met with the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and the internet criticized her for meeting a man China condemns as a separatist. China said the meeting has unleashed "anger" in the country.
The comments came rolling in after she posted several photos of her self with the leader on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Gaga met the Dalai Lama at the the U.S. Conference of Mayors in the U.S. city of Indianapolis and according to video of the event., spoke with him on topics including generosity to the poor and mental health.
