Winona Ryder and Johnny Depp were a celebrity couple back in the '90s. The couple met in 1989, when Ryder was 17 and Johnny Depp was 27, and were engaged in five months. Depp even got a tattoo on his arm that said "Winona forever." The couple split up in 1993, and the rumor was that the breakup was over their age difference. So during a recent interview with Time magazine, the actress spoke out in support of her ex saying that she couldn't imagine Johnny Depp being abusive. Depp's current estranged wife Amber Heard has accused him of being abusive. Ryder said that that was not her experience with the actor, and that she couldn't imagine him hurting a romantic partner.
